3/1 and 3/2 ride schedule

Just a reminder. Saturday we'll be riding on the Pinellas Trail. Kay and Michelle are leaving from their house at 7 am riding north on the trail. Nicole and Missi are leaving from Taylor Park at 7:45 am riding south on the trail. We're hoping to meet up somewhere in the middle. If you're interested in joining us, let me know and we can decide a place to meet. We're planning about 40 miles.
Sunday is the St Pete Times Bike Tour. Online registration ends today so if you're planning to ride, be sure to pre-register. http://www.active.com/page/Event_Details.htm?event_id=1511935&assetId=5370e76b-227a-4f90-8d1f-7437c7983638 The ride officially starts at 8 am but for those who are planning on the 75 mile ride, we might want to start a little early! I was thinking at about 7:30. If you have Blazin Bunz jerseys, please wear them! It's a great way to recruit new team members!

Schedule of Training Rides and Organized Events

2/23 Suncoast Trail 7 am start from SR 54. (Michelle needs to do a 100 miler so there is an opportunity to join her at various points on the trail).
2/24 Withlacoochee Trail (and Trilby Road) Meet at 7:30 am at Ridge Road Trailhead.
3/1 Fort DeSoto or Pinellas Trail (the start time will depend on which one we do)

Training rides for weekend of 2/16

2/16 Suncoast Trail -- Either leave with Mike and Dennis at 7 am from Lutz Lake Fern Trailhead at 7am (this will probably be a pretty fast ride and they're planning to do the whole Suncoast Trail) or leave with Kay and Michelle at 9 am from SR 54 trailhead.

2/17 Fort DeSoto -- 10 am Interval Training (it's a good chance to work on your speed)

Hotel Reservations for Bike MS event

Don't forget to make your hotel reservations for the event. Most of us are staying at the Best Western Admiral's Inn in Winter Haven on Friday night. I'm thinking of trying to do a cookout around the hotel pool instead of going out to dinner (if there is enough interest). The host hotel for Saturday night is the Rosen Centre. The Rosen Centre will sell out fast so don't wait to make reservations! If you would like to share a room, let Michelle know so she can match you up! (or post your comment on the blog....)

Jersey Order

Get your Blazin Bunz jersey now! We need to order a minimum of 12 jerseys. The consensus so far is for short sleeved jerseys. If we want to order sleeveless, we'll need to order 24 jerseys. This is a great jersey! We have people stop us all the time asking to take pictures! Don't miss out on your opportunity to get one hot jersey! And while you're at it -- you could recruit your friends and family to participate in the ride too (and get them to order jerseys). We have riders with all abilities from novice to racers! The more Bunz on the road, the more fun we'll have!

Sunday Ride on the Pinellas Trail

Kay and I are going to be meeting Nicole and Jess for a leisurely ride on the Pinellas Trail. Kay and I are leaving from our house at 7am. We're going to meet up with Nicole and Jess at 9am at Taylor Park in Largo (right off the trail). Then we're going to ride north and stop somewhere for brunch. Then we'll head back to St Petersburg. If you're interested in joining us, let me know and we'll find a place to meet.
